SAN FRANCISCO—Fitbit, a global leader in the connected health and fitness market, earlier this month announced the addition of Fitbit Charge 2™, the top selling fitness tracker in the U.S., into the recently expanded UnitedHealthcare Motion™ wellness program, powered by Qualcomm Life, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated.

Offered to employers by UnitedHealthcare, the Motion program is an employer-sponsored wearable device wellness endeavor that will soon enable people using Fitbit Charge 2 to track against the program’s activity metrics easily and conveniently – right on-the-wrist.

Organic Valley, a farmer-owned cooperative of more than 1,800 organic family farms, is launching a holiday campaign that defends one of America’s favorite foes of the post-WWII era: delicious, creamy butter. The co-op has an advertising arsenal that includes a video featuring its own farmer-owners, and a live-streaming website where they will be sculpting the faces of our nation’s “War on Butter Heroes” in real time out of Organic Valley’s organic, pasture-raised butter.

London, England, UK, October 2016—Global market research company Euromonitor International recently presented new research at a London press briefing, ‘No Sugar Please: How Snacks are Being Redefined’.

According to the presentation, growth of healthy snacks rose by 7 percent in 2014-2015 compared to ‘conventional’ snacks, which only increased by 5 percent. “The growth in healthy snacks was driven by Western Europe and North America, when combined, increased by $10.8 billion (in U.S. dollars) from 2011 to 2016. These numbers further identified an emerging trend that could transform the food industry,” says Jack Skelly, food analyst at Euromonitor International.
